亚当斯三人进入工厂。亚当斯走到木桩前，拿起链锯，发动，锯向木桩。亚当斯突然往后摔倒，但他双手紧紧握住电锯。鲍勃冲上前，谨慎地关掉发动机，从亚当斯手上拿过电锯。两名同学伸手将亚当斯拉起，帮他拍身上的泥土。
格登走上前，冷笑：That’s your experience, huh We can hire you, but on a voluntary base, no pay for the first month. Stay if you agree. Or, just get out of here right away. (这就是你的经验，啊？我们可以雇你们，但是第一个月是义务劳动，没工资。干，就留下，否则就马上滚蛋！)

格登对众人：Get yourself ready. We’re gonna set off at 4 o’clock tomorrow afternoon.(大家做好准备，我们明天下午四点钟出发。)
